Industries We Serve
Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication for Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment
Semiconductor tools are only as reliable as the hardware they’re built on.
EVS Metal fabricates the enclosures, frames, and precision components behind semiconductor fabrication manufacturing, produced to print and delivered through the contract manufacturing chain that builds these tools.
What We Build for Semiconductor Manufacturing Companies and OEMs
From individual components to complete integrated assemblies, EVS builds to the level your program needs. Some customers send drawings for enclosures and brackets at tight tolerance. Others hand us the full build: fabrication, finishing, hardware, and component integration, shipped ready for your production line. Either way, we manufacture in steel, stainless, or aluminum, finish in-house, and ship from the facility closest to you..
Equipment Enclosures
Precision-formed enclosures and cabinets for semiconductor tools, welded, finished, and built to print.
Frames & Structural Weldments
The welded steel and aluminum skeletons that carry a tool’s weight and hold its geometry.
Precision Panels & Covers
Formed panels and covers with clean edges and exact cutouts, fabricated to the tolerances tool designs demand.
Internal Component Mounting
Brackets, trays, and plates that position subassemblies inside the tool, laser-cut, formed, and finished.
Access Panels & Service Doors
Hinged and removable panels for tool maintenance access, precision-formed with hardware installed.
Hardware-Inserted Components
PEM fasteners, standoffs, and captive hardware installed to print on 33 insertion presses. Parts arrive assembly-ready.
Welded Assemblies
Robotic and manual welding for frames and multi-part weldments, fixtured for repeatability across production quantities.
Integrated & Custom Assemblies
Multi-component assemblies built, hardware-installed and packaged ready for integration, including parts engineered from CAD data.

Standards That Matter Here
ISO 9001:2015
Registered quality management across all four facilities — on high-volume programs, documented process control makes consistency a system rather than a hope.
Dock-to-Stock Capability
Parts that go from receiving directly into production, no incoming inspection — a step removed from your critical path.
Recognized Among North America’s Top Fabricators
EVS has appeared on The Fabricator’s Fab 40 list of the top sheet metal fabricators in North America for 17 consecutive years — a track record built on long-term production partnerships, not one-off jobs.
Four U.S. Facilities
351,000+ sq ft of combined manufacturing capacity — production near your project, redundancy in your supply chain.
Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment Fab FAQ
What types of components does EVS manufacture for semiconductor equipment?
Precision sheet metal enclosures and cabinets, welded frames and structural weldments, formed panels and covers, brackets and internal mounting hardware, and complete integrated assemblies. We build to print from your CAD data, from one-off parts through full production runs.
Do you work directly with semiconductor fabs?
Our customers are the companies that design and build semiconductor manufacturing equipment. We manufacture the fabricated metal components and assemblies their tools are built from, so the work happens in our facilities, not in fab environments.
What materials do you work with?
An even mix of stainless steel, aluminum, and steel, roughly a third of each. Painted parts are steel, and aluminum parts are chromated in most cases.
Can you handle both prototypes and production volumes?
Yes. One-off parts and prototypes are engineered from your CAD data, and production runs are fixtured for repeatability across quantities. The same team and equipment handle both, so moving from prototype to production doesn’t mean starting over.
What finishing do you offer?
In-house powder coating in standard and custom colors, applied in the same facility that formed the metal. Chromate conversion on aluminum, zinc plating, and tin and nickel plating, which provide the conductivity needed for parts like bus bars. Parts are produced cleanroom-ready.
How do you handle tolerances for semiconductor equipment work?
Formed panels, machined features, and weldments are fabricated to the tolerances the tool design specifies. For sheet metal, the typical standard is .005″ on hole center-to-center spacing, and .005″ per bend. Tolerances stack with geometry, so a part with two bends carries .010″ across those features. Tighter requirements are quoted per job, so send the print and we’ll tell you exactly what we can hold.
What other industries does EVS serve that require similar manufacturing capabilities?
Many of the manufacturing capabilities used for semiconductor equipment also support data center infrastructure, kiosk manufacturing, warehouse automation, medical equipment, industrial machinery, and other OEM industries.
