Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machining Programmer / Supervisor to join our team at EVS Metal. In this role, you will be responsible for programming CNC 3, 4, & 5 axis machining, to produce high-quality components that meet our rigorous standards. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations including mills and lathes 3, 4, & 5 axis.
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes according to specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections using coordinate measuring machines and other tools.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are accurately translated into manufacturable products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programming and machine operation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programming changes and machine settings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a Machining manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of all machining processes of all types of materials.
- Proficiency in MasterCAM software; experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
- Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines and inspection techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Pay: From $80,000 per year
