Today, representatives from EVS Metal’s New Jersey team, including Vice President and Co-Founder Joe Amico, participated in a career fair at a local technical high school. Our goal was to give students a brief overview of job opportunities in manufacturing and careers in metal fabrication, especially those in their own community.
To the left is an image of the handout we made available that helps illustrate different career paths in our industry. There is a serious shortage of skilled workers available in many communities across the country, and we love talking to high school students who are considering technical education about some of the opportunities available to them in the metal fabrication industry.
EVS Metal is nearly always hiring at our four precision sheet metal fabrication facilities, especially when it comes to skilled machine operators like CNC machining and forming experts. We often have openings in our metal finishing departments for powder coating and silkscreening specialists, in welding for precision TIG and MIG welders, as well as in other areas such as engineering and quality assurance.
