Riverdale, NJ – November 1, 2006 – EVS Metal is proud to announce the addition of a Haeger Window Touch hardware insertion machine to its already formidable collection of hardware insertion equipment.
The machine’s capability of inserting up to four different pieces of hardware in one handling will directly increase productivity and will help EVS achieve its goals of inventory and lead-time reduction. Additionally the Window Touch will help provide tighter quality control with its Quality Assurance feature; verifying both fastener length and presence. The integrated display provides a visual guide throughout the insertion process, further reducing the potential for operator error.
Besides its NJ location, EVS has three other metal fabrication and manufacturing facilities across the U.S. in central Texas, Eastern Pennsylvania and New Hampshire. The company’s capabilities include a full range of services such as high-speed laser cutting, CNC machining and electromechanical assembly. This allows EVS to offers a full range of product manufacturing capabilities, from complex welded enclosures to precision machined parts, to companies across North America, including both Canada and Mexico.
